Many believe it is worthy of the highest honor, as an individual gives up all their selfish interests in the name of serving the greater good of their country. However, such service does not come without consequences. Dating all the way back to the post-World War II era, studies have continuously demonstrated that soldiers who have seen active duty can have mental, physical, and emotional difficulties with readjusting to civilian life. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (commonly referred to as the VA) exists for precisely this reason: to help alleviate such challenges for veterans.
However, these systems have faced substantial difficulties for decades, and those shortcomings are only becoming more apparent in the modern age. Fortunately, VetClaims.ai is striving to introduce bold new solutions to these age-old problems. VetClaims.ai’s Success
VetClaims.ai has already served over 55,000 veterans. On average, veterans using the system endure only 1.8 claim cycles, whereas those using more traditional systems endure 4–6 claim cycles. To use the system, veterans simply pay a $1,250 flat fee, which contrasts sharply with the approximately $16,500 that claims agents typically charge.
It’s also a much more expeditious system, with it taking less than 14 days from intake to ready-to-file. On top of all this, VetClaims.ai has created more than 400 jobs for veterans.
The Bottlenecking of VA Systems
The VA has long been grappling with a structural bottleneck that has proven difficult to overcome. There are approximately 521 accredited claims agents in the country, yet they are attempting to adequately serve more than 19 million veterans nationwide. Faster preparation cannot solve the shortage of government-accredited representatives. Instead, the entire system needed to be rethought from the ground up, which is where the founder of VetClaims.ai came in.
As a Purple Heart recipient and veteran of the 82nd Airborne who served during Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) in 2012, he was proud of his service. Still, he found immense hardships awaiting him when he returned home that the VA was not properly equipped to address. He experienced homelessness after military service because earned benefits were inaccessible. This inspired him to build VetClaims.ai so that others could avoid the same pitfalls he had.
